Aji Pineapple: C. baccatum.
Varietà originaria dal Perù. La pianta sviluppa grande e cespugliosa, può crescere oltre il 1,5 metri ed è estremamente produttiva. I frutti sono lunghi circa 6 cm, larghi 2 cm e maturano dal verde al giallo. Il sapore molto fruttato e il profumo particolare dell'ananas, lo rende indicato per la preparazione di salse. Da non confondere con l'Aji Lemon Drop.

Der sehr fruchtige Geschmack und das besondere Aroma der Ananas machen es für die Zubereitung von Soßen geeignet. Nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Aji Lemon Drop.
